Thursday, June 13th - Cerney Gardens North Cerney GL7 7BX - £6.00 in the Honesty Box
It is some time since we have been to this venue and there has been a change of ownership and many improvements since our last visit. The gardens now have full time gardeners, the paddocks and woods have better access and seating, and a small ruined chapel has been uncovered. The medicine garden has matured and the do it yourself catering has been extended to provide more undercover seating. Have chosen early June as the roses should be good. Gardens on different levels and can be uneven. Car park just to the side of the garden entrance.
Tuesday, June 25th - NEW VENUE, private garden in Quenington - £5.00
Do not confuse with the Old Rectory. This venue is a large Cotswold house with semiformal garden by the house and plenty of green areas and informal tree planting. Limited parking in the side courtyard or street parking. Bring own lunch. This is at the bottom end of the village, full instructions will be sent to those attending.
Tuesday, June 2nd - Fairford United Chapel, Milton Street - As part of the 300 year anniversary of the Chapel, they’ve invited the Fairford Art Society members to exhibit pieces depicting the building. Come for a day with our members to participate in this unique exhibition opportunity. Please use the parking in the top car park. Coffee will be served inside and we hope you find some inspiration.
Tuesday July 9th - Cerney Wick Village, Crown Inn GL7 5QH
It is years since we were here so time for another visit. The day will include access to Round House, canal walks, and lovely secluded church at the end of a footpath. There is a chance for some buildings as well. We can park in the Crown Inn car park and use the pub loo. Hopefully you will indulge in light refreshment lunch at 1:30 PM and for those of you who remember the Julie Walters's one soup, two soup service last time, the pub is now a smart modern pub with plenty of outdoor seating.
Thursday July 18th - NEW VENUE, Cotswold Airport Kemble Viewing Platform
We are confined to the viewing station, which is just in front of the Av8 cafe. Light aircraft in and out, amazing skyscrapes. This venue can be windy and cold, so warm garments are advised. Bring your own lunch, or use the airport cafe. Entrance to this part of the Airfield is Stroud Road turn off by Deer Park school and the turn off for the Coats Village. A bit hidden away. Worth a trial run to find it if you are in that area Designated carpark. Confirm the directions before this event incase instructions change.

Tuesday, August 6th @ 2:30 PM - Chestnut Grove Bibury GL7 5ND by kind permission of Wendy and Phillip Challinor - £2.50
Not a painting session this time and note the time of 2:30 PM. A social gathering in the extensive grounds of Chestnut Grove. This is for all members and their partners. Please bring sandwiches and cake to share and your own cups, plates, and cutlery etc. A picnic tea is the order of the day. The charge is to cover the costs of all the tea, and your support is appreciated. We hope as many members as possible will take part in this new enterprise! If you can let Sallie know what you will be bringing in the way of food, it would be very helpful. All is dependent on weather of course!
Tuesday, August 13th - NEW VENUE, Eastleach Downs Organic Farm Gl7 3PX - £5.00
Wide open land and sky-scapes with a little walking and pigs in a more natural setting. Closed to the public on Tuesdays, so the entire space is all to ourselves. Rough walking and can be muddy. One all terrain buggy is available, but we will need to book in advance if this is needed, please let Sallie know. Loo, small car park, visitor centre, and make your own tea and coffee facilities are available. It is so peaceful here, although they may be harvesting at this time.
